Nicoló Reitano, born in Italy on May 16, 2000, is an artist, producer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, recording, mixing, and mastering engineer, known as an "Ambient Hip-Hop" pioneer under the alias Nicky Hudson Jr. (stylized NHJr.).
Nicky began his career in 2011 as a DJ for private parties, exploring genres such as Deep House and Ambient.
Discovered in 2018 by Nicola Ferro, mixing engineer who worked with Serban Ghenea on Bruno Mars' "24K Magic," Nicky had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most iconic artists in the Hip-Hop world, including Killah Priest, Wu-Tang Clan affiliate and member of Sunz Of Man, Cappadonna also from Wu-Tang Clan, Sticky Fingaz from the multi-platinum Hip-Hop group Onyx, Big Twins from Infamous Mobb and Soul Assassins, and Skits Vicious and Jay Reaper from the hardcore Hip-Hop group Dope D.O.D.
Nicky is also known for independently producing his own music videos, often filled with special effects and occasionally featuring celebrities such as the dancer Evita Stork. With a presence on major Instagram music production pages, Nicky recently earned a front-page feature on the Apple iTunes Store alongside top charts artists like Ellie Goulding, Neil Young, and Hans Zimmer. This recognition is attributed to his experimental EP "Heal Me" and the promotional campaign "A NEW ERA IS COMING."
Nicky's passion for music is also reflected in his versatility. While establishing himself as a pioneer of Ambient Hip-Hop, he also made a name for himself in film scoring, composing soundtracks and instrumentals that blend Sci-Fi Horror with World Ethnic influences, with atmospheric New Age soundscapes.
